Founded in
1991 by Dr. David Grant, RSVP is a progressive veterinary
staffing agency serving the animal medical industry throughout
Texas and neighboring states. From its corporate office in
Denton, Texas, RSVP manages temporary and permanent placement of
staff in non-profit organizations, specialty practices, research
facilities, mobile clinics, rural practices, zoos, ranches,
private clinics and corporate chains across six regions.
Meet Our
Founder
Founder David Grant, DVM attended The Ohio State University for his Bachelor of Science, Animal Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees. He began his professional career in 1987 as owner of the Animal Medical Center in Denton, Texas. In 1991, Dr. Grant founded Relief Services for Veterinary Practitioners (RSVP), which is a professional staffing agency employing over 70 veterinarians and staff throughout Texas.
In 1995, he founded Animal Care Training Programs (ACT), the leading provider of training resources, video, and DVDs for veterinary and animal shelter industries. Between 2003-2004 he developed the VetEd Tablet and Pet Info Center which are innovative technology resources that are transforming veterinary hospitals all over the world.
Dr. Grant is the author, editor, and/or producer of numerous publications and media resources such as Animal Euthanasia, The National Animal Control Association Training Guide, Animal Euthanasia Video Series, Dog Bite Prevention, Canine Behavior, ACT Staff Training Programs, Animal Shelter Training Series, Texas Veterinary Medical Association – Veterinary Assistant Training Programs, and The Complete Staff Training Resource.
He has been involved in various professional associations including the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association, Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association, and the Emergency and Critical Care Society. He also was the national speaker for The National Animal Control Association from 1993-1999.
