RSVP and its sister company, Animal Care Technologies, host veterinary assistant training courses that result in student certification through the TVMA. These dynamic courses offer classroom instruction, learning while on the job, guest teachers, hands-on experiences, exciting field trips, and ACT curriculum.
Students remain working in their sponsoring facility while taking these classes in order to meet TVMA requirements and fulfill on site objectives.
CVA Level I
This is the entry level course, focusing on foundations for the veterinary assistant. No previous veterinary experience is necessary. Some of the subjects covered are:

CVA Level II
This course builds on the foundation of Level I with clearly defined academic and practical objectives.
CVA Level III
The final level is longer, more in-depth, and demanding than I or II, and recommended for the serious, career minded student.
CVA courses are held quarterly for the DFW area at the Animal Care Technology corporate headquarters in Denton, plus custom courses can be arranged for a hospital or organization with 6 or more students anywhere in Texas.
